Directions: From Abingdon, Virginia go northwest
approximately 5 miles
on Highway 19 to Rich Valley Road/700, then turn left (west) and go
approximately 3.7 miles to 14074 Rich Valley Road.
The cemetery is on the south side of the road, and is accessed by
taking the dirt road just to the west of the church (Fredia Lane).
As you come to the crest of the hill, follow the road to the right.
It is on private property - next to a mobile home.
Ask for permission to access the cemetery.

This small rural cemetery is comprised of 7 tombstones,
and is located in a privately owned yard.
We could not believe our eyes when we found
this cemetery.
The owner of the property has very little land to work with,
so she incorporated the cemetery into her vegetable garden.
When we were there, she had just dusted her plants with lime,
so it looked as though it had recently snowed.
She does a great job of taking care of the graves,
and did a remarkably creative job of utilizing the tombstones as tomato stakes!
